Everyone keeps saying avocado tastes like “nothing,” but I think it has a mild buttery taste to it.
I buy my avocados underripe (green and hard) and leave them on the counter until they're slightly squishy with a gentle squeeze. Then pit it, mash it up, and eat it as a dip with tortilla chips or cheese and crackers. It's sort of an "earthy" taste. I love them, and thankfully my kiddo loves them too. They're so good for you.
Message me if you need. I’m vegan since giving birth but I ate like crap my whole pregnancy and I really regret it
It’s amazing on sandwiches, toast, salad, wraps, etc. Just make sure you don’t get a overripe one or a underripe one.
@neneeee, too green it’s not ready and too black and mushy it’s too ripe
You never had an avocado?
It is mushy, it doesn’t really have a taste too much but maybe make some guacamole? I put diced tomato, cilantro, garlic powder, salt and lime juice
Never , but I’ve been looking for good things too eat for my pregnancy & it’s highly recommended 🤷🏾♀️ so I was thinking of giving it a try...
Typically a softer texture. Doesn't have much taste. Typically takes on the tastes of whatever you eat it with. Kind of bland by itself. Fantasic in guacamole!
@neneeee yes. An excellent chip dip or even a spread on sandwiches! My husband puts them with everything. He will cube one up and throw it into a breakfast burito.
Creamy and mild
