My husbands been back to work four days and yesterday he almost got hit by a car. He was flagging had 14 cars stopped this women was car 15 (yes they count them) she wasn’t paying attention texting and driving hit the car in front of her skidded off the road flipped her car and came a couple inches from hitting my husband. Now you might say why didn’t he move right away well it happened so fast he didn’t really have a choice he literally had to jump out of the way. I really wish people would just put the damn phone down. You saw you were in a construction zone with one lane why, why put other peoples life on the line so you can text and drive. 😡

Before my husband and I got married he was a flagger and I would get nervous while he was working because of people who don't pay attention. I'm glad your husband is ok and so sorry you had to go through this!

I'm glad your husband is alright!! This is how my cousins boyfriend died. They were finishing up the site gathering signs and a car came flying up and hit him and sent hin flying. He died on impact. 😔

How scary! I feel this on so many levels and share all the same outrage and frustration. My husband is a police officer and has also had to jump out of the way of distracted drivers during traffic stops. It's terrifying!

@countrymusic_mama, @scream.queen, I know ladies he never really flags much he’s usually on the road doing something else but they haven’t brought everyone back yet so they needed him. He was still in shock last night when he came home scared didn’t wanna go back today but he’s okay. He said all I could think about was you and the boys what you would do without me. I told him don’t ever think like that. You’re still here and okay. I told him he had someone watching over him. @leowifey, thank him for his service and keeping people safe! I know people are always distracted by something. Just last week we had a trooper die because he drove into the car coming in on traffic opposite direction. He gave his life so the man wouldn’t kill another family. 😟

Whoa! Was this by home? I haven’t seen anything about this. But my town did a test and pulled over an unmarked car and sat and videoed everyone who didn’t move over. People are ridiculous!
