so my babies dad has been using crystal for quite a while long time already, he was in a rehab center for about 3 weeks then left because he didn’t want to be in there, he told me he hasn’t been using it for a while now but i’ve heard by many people it’s hard to stop using that. what do you mommies think could he still be using it or it’s easy to just stop using it ??

It really comes down to the person & how motivated/willing to quit they are, as well as being influenced by their support or lack there of. I've seen people turn themselves around in a month personally, while my s/o's mom has literally been using for 20+ years because "it's easier to just continue then to stop". Some just don't care enough to quit, just like with anything else. I've seen first hand the withdrawls, that part does suck and can be horrible but nothing a person wanting to quit can't get past imo 🤷🏻

I don’t think the three weeks he was in there would have been enough. I assume it takes a lot of strong willpower to get off of that. I would keep my kiddo away if I were you.

Hello it’s been a while how is everyone? Not many og momlifers will remember me but some old bb people may. Hope everyone is well.
Anybody have a cat that suddenly stopped eating? My cat stopped eating a few weeks ago and he’s losing weight. It’s the same food we’ve been using and he used to gobble it down. Now he barely takes one bite and at the end of the day I throw it away and start over. I buy the more expensive food and I don’t want to throw away $20 bags of food for no reason. Not really sure what to do. Will he actually starve himself?

My friend was addicted to the same thing for 8 years.. she stopped but relapsed many times.. she had a lot of toxic people in her life that made her use again.. but I came to see , you stop when you want.. I smoke marijuana.. and I say it all the time that ima gonna stop, but I don’t because I don’t want to.. I assume it’s like that with other drugs..
