How would you feel about Sally’s Beauty selling minors ear piercing guns? Like a 12 year old?

How would you feel about Sally’s Beauty selling minors ear piercing guns? Like a 12 year old?

And the sales lady talking about nipple piercings with 4 girls that are 12?

An alternative is using a safety pin or sewing needle. If they really want a piercing bad enough to do it themselves, they will find a way.

I feel like minors shouldn’t be in public without their parent period. That shouldn’t even happen. But the sales lady should know better that talking to children about that kind of stuff.

Are you serious 🤨.. Will you not allow your kids out in public without you until they are 18? I’ve never heard of this before lol

@mimixtmn, No. but they at least need to be in high school and a TEEN. I just feel like 12 is too young to be introducing that kind of independence. My 12 year old CHILD has no business out in public alone, without adult supervision. And has no reason to be. My CHILD’s safety comes first. And that’s just my opinion. 😒

@itsshalisa, relax no need for the attitude I was asking because you said you feel like minors shouldn’t be in public without their parent a minor is anyone under 18, not a teenager so therefore you didn’t mean what you stated.

I wouldn’t be happy if it was my kid. But if there isn’t a policy against there isn’t much that can be done unfortunately.

I would definitely speak to a manager or someone higher up about the inappropriate talk though. Even if I’m an adult I don’t want to talk about nipple piercings with a random salesperson

Yeah. My sister and I are going to write letters to see if there’s anything to be done about passing a law about selling equipment to minors. It’s crazy to me.

I’m pissed I didn’t know this when I was using a safety pin and ice cube. 😬😂😂 JUST KIDDING. Maybe. But I was 16-17 lol

I’m so upset over this. My Niece bought a mini gun and pierced hers and 3 other girls ears. ‘Friendship piercings ‘. And the lady at the store was talking to them about nipple piercings 🤯 they LOOK 11-12.

I almost feel that is crossing the line. Strange woman talking to teenyboppers About nipples and god knows what else. I want to go ask that woman WTF was she thinking about when she was talking about a little girls nipples? Seriously disgusting.

@rayofmysunshine, It’s absolutely crossing the line. I’d honestly file a formal complaint with the manager or even district manager. That is NOT a conversation an adult should be having with children. I’m outraged about it tbh.

Oh and I called a different store and they said there is no policy against selling to minors.

That shouldn't be aloud, the law of body mods needing parents consents, should also go for selling such equipment to minors.
