@butterflystylist, that’s when they found hers but where hers is at the top part of the bottom chambers where there is less muscle the dr said hers probably won’t close before she is born
That’s a tricky location, but as long as it stays small as she grows, she likely won’t need surgery
my babe had a small vsd that was found at anatomy scan, but it closed up by 29 weeks, the drs said they usually close on their own either before birth or shortly after

Let me rephrase that. What were y'all earliest symptoms whether they were big or small.
They never told me anything about it until after my daughter was born at her I think 9 month doctors appointment. We saw a specialist and he said hopefully it will close on its own but if not she will be re-evaluated and possible surgery when she turns 5.
