I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
VENT ; ⚠ So my brother in law’s girlfriend is pregnant , she’s 35 weeks today & yesterday she kept telling me she wanted to give birth already , which I feel her I say that all the time 😂 . So she wanted to go to the park to walk , cause she’s 1cm & wants to dilate more BUT doctor told her NOT TO WALK 🤔. Anyways we didn’t end up going & she ended up going to the hospital last night , and she stayed on 2cm & they sent her home . I told her it’s just ain’t babies time to come out . She’s like she weights 5IBS already she’s fine . seriously pisses me off , because she’s pushing things even tho baby just ain’t ready to come out !!!!! & complications can come for the baby 😢.
I posted the day before yesterday about my friend.. & well....... her fiancé came over, AND she came alone 😐 we eat sit around and after awhile my husband takes him to the back & the next thing I know he’s coming in the house with a weird look on his face, asking her if there was something he should know, I instantly gets up just in case someone turns into a maniac....... well long story short he cried & told her how disloyal she is & how disappointed he was.. she’s crying asking me why would I do that.. I’m like 🤷🏽 ♀ it wasn’t right........ Our other friends are saying that he’s giving her a hard time and that he sleeping on the couch, not eating her food and won’t talk to her.. she’s not talking to me (of course) & I now feel like we could have handled it in a different manner ... idk seeing a grown man cry like he did was just heart breaking!
I’ve posted about my defiant toddler many times before but I’m really at a loss now. She deliberately disobeys. Like, she knows what “no” means and if she’s doing something she knows she’s not supposed to I can ask “do you want to go in timeout?” And she’ll answer “no” and SOMETIMES stop.. I can’t take her anywhere cause she refuses to listen. She runs wild, screams, throws tantrums etc. At home she’s just as bad and absolutely nothing I do or say helps. Timeout doesn’t work, hand poppings don’t work, a pop on the butt doesn’t work, I’ve tried getting down to her level and calmly explaining things or trying to make sure she knows that I understand her emotions and things like that but I’m not even kidding when I say nothing works with her. I’m constantly telling her no and even though she knows she’s going to get into trouble she will do it anyways and then cream this blood curdling scream when she does get in trouble. I’ve raided Pinterest for days, write everything down, tried everything I found... idk what else to do. Everyone keeps telling me it’s “terrible twos” or “she’s just strong willed” or that it’s normal for her age and all of that might be true but there’s gotta be some kind of something that will help me teach her to listen to me and such.
Need opinions. My bf and I are going to hawaii again this year and we wanted my bff and her boyfriend to come with us this time. We asked them a month before we booked it and she kept saying she wants to go and she just has to talk to her bf about it but he didn’t say no. she kept saying that. it came time to book the trip and we didn’t have an answer from them but my bf didn’t want them to lose the opportunity so he booked their trip for them and put insurance on it in case they decided against it. don’t get me wrong, I KNOW it was stupid of him to do that. I told him that almost immediately after him telling me he booked it. this was about 2 months ago. for 2 more months we kept getting the “yeah we wanna go but lemme see if we can figure it out”. then all is a sudden she says “it’s not really our type of vacation” which 1) blows my mind and 2) why not just say that from the start? if it’s not ur kind of vacation now then it wasn’t 2 months ago either. anyways, we tried to cancel to find out that the terms of insurance are crazy. basically the only way we can cancel is if one of them were to pass away, get hurt, or lose their job. about 2 weeks ago my bff actually broke her foot. which is the perfect out for us to be able to cancel their trip and get $2,000 back. my bf told her to just ask the dr for a note. she went to the dr yesterday and texted us saying “dr said no note” now we could be wrong, but we both immediately thought she didn’t even ask for one. and I wouldn’t put it past her to be uncomfortable asking for a dr note and just not even do it cuz it’s not her problem. now we are out $2,000 at the same time that we’re selling our home and buying a new one and like I said, yeah he shouldn’t have booked the trip for them, but to go from “yeah we want to go” to “it’s not our type of vacation” seems like she just led us on. and now she’s saying they wouldn’t even want to go if it was free. like 1) who says that? and 2) then why did you say you wanted to go from the start? and now she seems like she’s annoyed with us. she hasn’t responded to us and I haven’t talked to her at all since which isn’t common. Would you be annoyed if you were us? that they couldn’t just be honest from the start? also anyone have experience with canceling trips with crazy insurance policies?

I remember a phase similar to this - kiddo would only sleep if he was on me, and wanted movement constantly. If you don't already, try babywearing in a sling or carrier or wrap. That way she's still close to you but you've got your hands at least.

My daughter was like this too. Her doctor said it was a developmental milestone. Their brain is developing. Google the witching hour. The only way I could do anything was to let her cry for about 3 minutes at a time. It was stressful. Luckily my daughter did outgrow it. She still loves attention but she lets me get a lot more stuff done. This too shall pass. Hang in there!
