Looking for some kind of advice or if any other moms have dealt with this as well...

My daughter will be 11 weeks on Sunday and she’s really a good baby... within the last week she’s gotten much fussier like now she doesn’t wanna be in her swing or the rock n play and if she is in it it’s not long until she starts crying and it’s like she wants to be held all the time and sometimes won’t let me sit like she wants me to be walking around. She wants attention 24/7. She also won’t nap for longer than like 20 minutes if I’m lucky if she’s put down she has to be laying on me to sleep. We spent 3 nights at her dads last week and I really didn’t put her down the whole time so I don’t know if she’s gotten used to me holding her the entire time we were there and that’s all she wants or if it could be something else because she wasn’t like this before we went there and sometimes she doesn’t even wanna be held by anyone else except for me so it’s like I can’t get much done always having to hold her or keep her entertained.

I remember a phase similar to this - kiddo would only sleep if he was on me, and wanted movement constantly. If you don't already, try babywearing in a sling or carrier or wrap. That way she's still close to you but you've got your hands at least.

My daughter was like this too. Her doctor said it was a developmental milestone. Their brain is developing. Google the witching hour. The only way I could do anything was to let her cry for about 3 minutes at a time. It was stressful. Luckily my daughter did outgrow it. She still loves attention but she lets me get a lot more stuff done. This too shall pass. Hang in there!
