I just have to put this out there for some of these moms who bashes girls who are 37 weeks and trying to start there labor now if you can clearly read it saids that 37 weeks is considered full term 🙄
I know this is shocking but... some things in google search results can be incorrect. Full term is 39 weeks according to medical professionals in the US. That au means that’s an Australian website, I believe.
You right there is no argument here because I’m not arguing over it I said what I said and who ever don’t like it or don’t agree with it then oh well 🤷♀️ because at the end of it you can’t stop a baby from coming whether it’s 37 weeks or 36 weeks etc they come when they wanna come and ready so the matter of full term or early term really doesn’t matter because it’s all up to your baby god and your body not even doctors
Full term is now 39w. Doctors won’t medically induce before then, so that should tell you the correct timeframe. Ever hear about someone being induced at 37w? No.
@scruffy.nerf.herder, I don’t see how he is not responsible and he has been doing his job for almost 30 years never a law suit death of a newborn or mother harm and not only that he is a catholic so yeah I don’t see nothing wrong in what he did
@angeliquemitchell.1992, please see @mcmuffin1231, post down below. She summed it up best.

Good luck girl, I was blessed with a healthy baby at 36w 5d. It was an early labor that started on its own. I wish you would have stayed in longer butts she was ready. She was born just under 6lb at 5.14lb but extremely healthy (still tiny) but still very healthy to this day.

@angeliquemitchell.1992 I understand I was just putting in my two cents I suppose I was actually 36 weeks 5 days not 37 weeks 5 days when I had my daughter
@momsrmagical, and it doesn’t bother me you gave your opinion I just don’t like how some of these girl try and smart talk or try to get snappy with me because I do get snappy and rude right back
My oldest came at exactly 36 weeks and my second came at 36 weeks and 6 days. Both weighed 6lbs and neither had any health issues. However If it was up to me I would have preferred for them to bake a little longer. I understand that you said your kids were born healthy before 39 weeks and a few of us are fortunate enough for our kids to be born earlier and be okay... however that’s just something that people shouldn’t want to risk unless the doctor says it’s okay.
I'm sorry girl but I had my son at 37 weeks and he was in the NICU for 9 days due to premature lung development. U are right that babies will come when they are good and ready, I just have a problem w ppl who try to induce labor that early because I did it and those were the result. I fully believe full term is 38+ weeks
Yea I get that. My mom was a postpartum nurse and she saw babies born at 35 weeks and told me u will be ok these babies are always fine but I induced my labor early and it went bad. If they come naturally theres nothing u can do.
@aussiexjane, pretty much all my kinds were between 36-37 minus my daughter I’m pregnant with now she is my 39 week baby but she coming by induction just like the rest outside of my oldest son my water broke at 36 weeks with him
No sweetheart you wanna demand that you are right there is no right or wrong because clearly like I said if you can’t read that it doesn’t matter whether it’s 37 weeks or whatever babies come when they wanna come and for you to sit there at act like you know more than a professional doctor who clearly went to school got a degree has a whole practice and been doing this job for 30 plus years that there wrong and have outdated information when you can research and read anything and it will say that full term is considered between 37-40 weeks
Your post is not about babies coming when they are ready, sweetheart. Your post is about women commenting to those who are trying to start labor at 37 weeks, remember? Your doctor is wrong. The definition of full term was updated in 2013. You have yourself a goodnight now.

Well you have your opinions on it and I have mines and I was also told by my ob who has been a ob from almost 30 plus years that 37 weeks is consider full term even tho my oldest daughter was born at 37 weeks and my two youngest daughters were also born at 37 weeks all by induction and turned out to completely healthy at birth and had no complications throughout labor or after
It’s not MY opinion, it’s the medical opinion of the leading authority on pregnancy and fetal health. Unfortunately your doctor is outdated in his/her information. There’s really no argument here and it’s not a matter of opinion. I’m glad your babies were healthy. Many are at 37 weeks but some are not.
