Should parenting be licensed?
The idea was that people should go through courses related to infant and child care and be issued a license before leaving the hospital. If this was something that was mandatory like a license to drive would you support this idea??? Just curious to see what people had to say

I think it should be license to parent before conception 😂

Lowkey yeah.... some babies would be better off raised by robots. Dogs even.

I feel like any form of limiting in that way only leads to worse problems. I mean look at China and what happened with their one child policy.

Good point that surprisingly didn't come up in the class 🤔 at least from what I remember

Hell yeah I agree. Those few people that hurt, kill and abandon babies/children shouldn’t have had them. I know people will lie during any tests but it might help babies and kids from all the abuse and killing. Some people will admit they need help.

I definitely think you should be licensed to bring life into this world. Too many unfit parents out there. Too many infant deaths due to negligence. Too many careless sex and pregnancy resulting in unwanted children.

100% yes. I don’t think requiring basic skills be met is comparable to a one child policy tbh.
