How fast was your second labor compared to your first? With my daughter I was induced at 3/4 cm and had her 5.5 hours later, only 9 mins of pushing (and like 8 stitches). Wondering how fast I need to get to the hospital when I go into labor with this one 😅
2nd labor was half the time for me!
Induced with both, first time was about 27/28 hours of labor and 10 minutes of pushing, my second was 9 hours of labor and again only about 10 minutes of pushing
I question this to! My first born I was in labor for 31 hours and pushed for 4.5 hours!!! He was so stubborn!! So I’m praying this one is a breeze lol
My second labor was longer than my first. With my first it was 15 hours total. With my second I was in and out of the hospital because my body was confused. I had 12 hours of prodromal labor and then I had 18 hours of actual labor a few days later.
My first was 10 hours & my second was 1 hour in total i almost didn’t make it too the hospital, when I got there my contractions were already 1-2 minutes apart & I was 5cm by the time they got me into the labor and delivery room I was already 10cm and they didn’t even have the table with tools or anything set up yet lol i did like half a push and my daughter did the rest lol I didn’t even have time to get an epidural 😭
I was induced both times and my first was 26 hours 8 hours of pushing
My second was 8 hours long push for 20 minutes
With my first I was in labor 36 hours with my son it was about 13 hours
First was 16hrs, second was my shortest at less than 5.
I was induced with my first at 1pm on a Monday and didn't have him until the following Tuesday at almost 11pm via csection. With my 2nd I didn't need to be induced.. went into the hospital at 9am with mild contractions (preparing to be induced) but turns out I was already at 4cm and progressing so they didn't need to induce me. Ended up having my son at 5:14pm the same day (took an hour and a half to push him out though)
My second was honestly slower than my first . My first took 14 hrs 10 minutes of pushing & my second took 16 hours 10 minutes of pushing . I honestly think it’s because of the way they gave me my pitocin & epidural they slowed things down a bit because my third time went SUPER fast . It was 5 1/2 hours & maybe 5 minutes of pushing .
My first was all together 8 hrs with 20 min of pushing. My second was 12 hrs with 5-7 min of pushing because the epidural didn't work 😂😂😂
I was partially induced with my first, my water was leaking, so that labor took a while. I was fully induced with my second, at 41 weeks, that labor was super easy and quick. Went into the hospital at 6am started iv fluids and iv antibiotics, strep b positive, got an epi at 12:30ish took a nap then was woken up by the dr at 2:30ish saying I was ready to push and he was born at 2:44pm
I was induced with my first, total was 3 hours. My second I was 5 days overdue and by the time i got to the hospital i was at a 10 but my OB was delivering another baby so I had to try not to push. Total was 5 hours. 😂
