Please someone help me I just need some sleep 😭 my daughter stays up all night long because she’s constantly raising her legs like this then thrashing them down on the bed. She keeps herself up by doing it anytime she starts to snooze. She’s started doing it about two night ago and I can’t stand it anymore! I thought about swadling but I don’t know any good ones for her age and I’m awful at blanket swaddling

Have you tried wearable blankets? The arms are out and they just zip up.

This is what happened to my son. A few weeks ago he started rolling over both directions, so I can’t let him sleep in the sleep sack swaddle anymore 😩. I put him in a normal sleeper, and he kept putting his legs up, and rubbing his eyes, so he was waking up every 20mins. I’m currently in the process of slowly weaning him from the swaddle sack, but am going to follow your thread for ideas 😊. I’ve heard good things about a marvel miracle suit for sleep (maybe be mixing up the name), but I don’t know if I want him to become dependent on another sleeper 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Also, I’m sure this picture was taken during play time, and not actual bed time; but just in case here’s a friendly reminder that she should not have pillows or blankets in her sleep area. Just a mattress, and fitted sheet😊. If you already do that ignore my comment.

I’ve posted about my defiant toddler many times before but I’m really at a loss now. She deliberately disobeys. Like, she knows what “no” means and if she’s doing something she knows she’s not supposed to I can ask “do you want to go in timeout?” And she’ll answer “no” and SOMETIMES stop.. I can’t take her anywhere cause she refuses to listen. She runs wild, screams, throws tantrums etc. At home she’s just as bad and absolutely nothing I do or say helps. Timeout doesn’t work, hand poppings don’t work, a pop on the butt doesn’t work, I’ve tried getting down to her level and calmly explaining things or trying to make sure she knows that I understand her emotions and things like that but I’m not even kidding when I say nothing works with her. I’m constantly telling her no and even though she knows she’s going to get into trouble she will do it anyways and then cream this blood curdling scream when she does get in trouble. I’ve raided Pinterest for days, write everything down, tried everything I found... idk what else to do. Everyone keeps telling me it’s “terrible twos” or “she’s just strong willed” or that it’s normal for her age and all of that might be true but there’s gotta be some kind of something that will help me teach her to listen to me and such.

If I’m not mistaking that is 100% a user that used to be on this app, I think her babies name was journey and her baby has Down syndrome.. I remember she was so excited to be a grandmother and now she’s talking about giving this baby up to the state???
