I'm TERRIFIED of having something implanted in my body. I've heard TOO many horror stories to take the chance. I have hyperthyroidism also, so certain hormone birth controls screw with that, makin my symptoms worse. I take a low dose pill. I have to set an alarm on my phone ro remember to take it every day but it's what's best for us!
Side effects at all? Weight gain? That’s my biggest concern so I have zero birth control but I do not want another baby for at least 4 years 😩
@mamatobabygirl, I haven't had any kinda effects whatsoever. I was KINDA hopin it would help me put on a few pounds! I am having the BIGGEST struggle gaining and I never even considered that could be a side effect but MAYBE it is?!?!
I'd never recommend the nexplanon to anyone. I had a bad experience with it and have talked to many ppl that had a bad experience.
I stick with the pill.

I love my nexalpon. I havent had any problems with it at all.
I used to be on the pill and I LOVED Lo Loestrin Fe. It’s low estrogen and was just really gentle and nice. It didn’t effect my period too much though :/
