Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after having a incompetent cervix?? They told me next pregnancy I have to have my cervix stitched an I also plan not to announce next pregnancy till 24weeks

How many weeks were you when you delivered I had a baby at 26 I never needed a stitch they gave me progesterone shots untill week 35

@mariahh97, I think a long cervix is good though that means lower risk of early labor

@boymom123, yeah I’m hoping next time works well it took me so long to conceive her . An I did that with clomid so I might have to another round of that just to get pregnant again .

I had a short cervix which is different but my mother in law had an incompetent cervix with her middle son. He was born at 28 weeks. This was in the 80s. She went on to have my fiance in 1990. With today's technology women are able to have healthy pregnancies with incompetent cervix. It is good that they know ahead of time.
