Best part of being pregnant I got out of cleaning the cats box of 9 months
@mrsmord, it’s mostly a concern with outdoor cats bc they could carry disease my cat is in door but I didn’t want to risk and pregnancy was rough for me but not cleaning the box was an additional greatnesses
I held my nose and wrote gloves. My cat is only indoors though idk if that makes a difference lol.
I just wore a face mask and gloves and washed my hands real good when done.
My dr told me to wear a face mask if I had to change it and to wash my hands immediately after.
My husband refuses to let me do the box but honestly he sucks at it and I do it when he goes to work anyways. I just try not to breathe it in and wash my hands well after.
My doctor told me no, i was Ganna get paid to do it for someone while she’s away but now i can’t
@mrsmord That's understandable. I wouldn't do it for someone else's kitty or an outdoor kitty. My cat is indoor though and I know what she's eating so I'm okay just making sure I wear a mask and washing my hands well.
