Anyone else pregnant while another close friend or family member is also pregnant? Are you happy to share the experience together or do you feel like it’s a competition?

I have a friend we both share a bday our girls and husbands share bday months and now we both are pregnant with boys due same month (days away)😅 I’m happy to share the experience together but lately it feels like she’s competing with being pregnant 🙃

Some people don’t intentionally compete, but their words may feel like it. The way they may try to one-up you. Theirs is better, etc. not saying that’s how your friend is but I know other ppl in my life who are like that.

I have 2 of my closest friends and my cousins wife that are pregnant right now. All due within 2-3 months of me. And I’m super excited for all them!! All 4 of us has lost a pregnancy semi recently so I’m so glad.

I don’t see why people think it’s a competition. That’s just wrong in my opinion. We should all feel blessed and happy for one another.

My sister and I were preggo together. Babies were 1 month apart. It was nice.

My sister and I were pregnant at the same time we had the same due date and had our babies two days apart but it wasn’t a competition since my family isn’t really like that and she was on her fourth baby and it was my first so it was different for both of us. I did get more attention because my son was born on thanksgiving but that’s about it 🤷🏼♀️

My sister is 3wks behind me but we used to be like best friends but since she is with her bf for like 10yrs he8taken that from me we live in the same small town never see her really and when i do its rushed never get calls unless i call her. Just tragic bc it could be so awesome together.

I’m sorry to hear that. My sister is like my BFF. So I can’t imagine how that must feel to not have that relationship with her anymore, especially during a special time like pregnancy.
