I broke down at my moms house today ... because of the debt we owe and Passover is coming and it’s a very expensive holiday ... it was just way too much .... my mom i guess told my brother that I’m suffering and he called me over and asked me why i didn’t just ask for help, and offered to help when i need it . And gave me basically 4K to help for the month and if i need more to ask ... now one thing about me , is that i will suffer silently and won’t ask for help.... I’ve always been that way. Deff thankful for my family atm.
I will start to do eBay too . I have stuff i can sell... anything to help out alittle help my husband ... whatever i can do.

Have you considered pulling the boys from school until they’re kinder age to save money from that? My 4.5yr old has never attended a daycare/preschool bc I just felt like it was such a waste. I use our local libraries free play groups/music groups/science classes as his replacement & it doesn’t cost a thing. I also work with him about 2hrs a day at home with little workbooks from Amazon.

Nah that’s one thing i think i would never do , they learn so much more then i can teach them and their socializing and i can’t myself handle them lol they need a set schedule . I’ll do whatever i can to get my kids the best education they can get . They happen to be in a very good preschool , they know so much , and Gabriel actually improved his talking a lot the teacher helps him with it too.

I agree about keeping the kids home. I wouldn’t send a kid for pre-k until the year before kindergarten, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Before that year prior to kindergarten it’s just daycare, no matter how many people call it school. It’s not necessary if it’s not something you can afford. I say this as an elementary teacher & a very strong supporter of early childhood education. There are so many free activities that can be done at home with time & effort.

that’s what we do. My oldest & youngest are in play group that is 3hrs long once a week that include a preschool schedule of play/craft/story/music/snack that’s free through our local library. We go the museum once a week. Go to music twice a week (free @ library). And science once a week (free @ library). My oldest does tball twice a week as well. And just from working with him on those workbooks & some homeschooling tips from experienced moms, he’s passed his age group in most things & has started working on 2nd grade curriculum books. At this point I think he’d be bored with pre-k. Lol And it was very little effort on my end, other than driving them places. Children absorb so much, so easily.
