Not mom related but I'm posting anyways!
We moved into a new neighbourhood 6 months ago. Due to dog allergies with my husband and daughter we rehomed our dog to a friend. So a lady 2 door down had man friends who are over daily with his 2 huge dogs. The dogs come over to my yard and poop. Today there is 5 damn huge piles and my 1 year old plays on the yard. The lady is a fiery lady who's drinks and drinks and is loud and rowdy. The sight of poop makes me gag and throw up. Let alone the fact that my daughter plays in the grass. Now what the heck do I do about this because I dont need the stress or confrontation with someone in the neighbourhood who I dont know or havent even said hi to.

I’d get a fence. 🤷🏻♀️ sounds like a mess. I’m no good at confrontations.

I like to confront people but not every one is like that. She’s supposed to pick up after her dog, you can probably call the cops on her and she should get a fine. You might need proof, like a picture of the dogs in your yard.

And you can tell the cops not to mention your name or house. I’m sure if the dogs are shitting in your yard, they must be in other peoples yards too.

Yup definitely invest in a fence an you can ask adjoining neighbors to pay half as it would benefit them as well and cheaper for both of you. If they don’t want to, then do it alone regardless

Well maybe a partitions of some sorts or speak to the landlords and tell them what’s going on. Maybe this has been an ongoing situation with previous tenants. Maybe there is a product to deter or get camera for like $180 at Canadian tire and maybe she won’t have her dog poop there

Ya it's not even her dogs. It's her man friend that brings his dogs over all the time and let's them do what they want.

One last solution is confront her and bring dog toys for the dogs to show your not malicious just setting healthy boundaries for your little ones not to end up on shit lol your not wimping out just trying to defuse a situation before it becomes a big one. Do all the other stuff first though cause when ppl become inebriated all logic goes out the window 😏

Ya. We have a neighbourhood watch lady who takes all concerns and deals with them so shes dealing with it but if it happens again I dont give a f I'm going to her door and putting the poop on her damn table lol
