When I first found I was pregnant I joked about a push present.. Only because it came up on a show about celebrity moms and I've never heard of it. Surprisingly he's actually been showing a lot of interest in push presents lately. Please let that be a sign 😂😬
Women don’t deserve shit having a baby. It’s what our bodies do naturally, for most women, and the rest fought so hard to get a baby that anything else would be an insult to the work they put in just to get pregnant. Your gift IS YOUR BABY.
The only push present I ever wanted was a clean house and a good nights sleep 😂
Eh I think it’s kind of a silly thing.
Ooh those are really good asks... Rip 7 hours of sleep 😢
I don’t understand why some people are so triggered by the idea of a push present😂 it’s a cute idea! And if some women went through especially tough deliveries, there’s nothing wrong with their partner/family members showing some appreciation by giving them a simple gift. That doesn’t send the message that their baby isn’t a gift, it’s mostly to acknowledge how much hard work the mother went through to bring a baby into the world. That being said, I didn’t get a push present (other than my son) but I plan to shower all of my sisters with plenty of push presents if they ever have babies.

I agree a baby is a beautiful gift it shouldn't be an expectation to get anything. I just think it would be great for the man to show some appreciation, even if it's a hand written note ☺
@cams If it bothered me I'd continue to scroll past their response. But if I'm excited about something sometimes the first thing I want to do is share. It may seem like bragging to some but why can't it be looked at as excitement?
But you're not scrolling now ? You're responding. I think you missed the whole point. It's bragging when that's all you do on every post. She clearly stated that the occasional excitement about something is different than constantly bragging.
@itswhitnibitch I'm not just scrolling past because it's not bothering me, I don't see why it should. I understand everyone has different opinions. Maybe she is constantly excited because she is constantly getting gifts. I do understand what you all are saying but my point is I can understand both sides.
@nolensmommeeplus1, people are very aware others live a good life. When you can’t feed your family you don’t need to see I have “xyz”. That’s not motivation. It cuts when you already want a different life. I’ve struggled hard for a long time. Now I live very comfortably. I would NEVER rub it in anyone’s face.
@bigmama18 well that's something you wouldn't do. People do this though and have different perspectives. Maybe the intention is not to rub it in. If someone is impacting your mental space negatively you learn how to deal with it. If you know that's something you don't want to see constantly block so you don't have to.
My husband was a no go for push presents! He said the baby was my present 🤦♀️😤😒 why does your youngest say -1 days old?
Push presents are stupid, and women who expect “push presents” from their SO’s are even more stupid. You’re giving life to a human being for Pete’s sake! You don’t need a damn present for something your body is made to do. 🤦🏻♀️
There, I said it. 🤷🏻♀️
How many of you Mama's to be are getting a push present? I still haven't gotten my last 2 push presents so I plan on looking for a few cheap push presents or 1 expensive push present to make up for the last 2 he didn't get me & this one😁
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Wth is this "push present"?! When I had my babies I could care less about things for myself. Your push present is being able to have a beautiful healthy baby and going home with him or her after two nights in the hospital. A lot of mom's can't do this so shouldn't that be enough? 🤔🤔🙄
