@tatsandcats, that’s what I was told when I lost it with my oldest. That I was dilating and changing. But it works regrow to fill in the gap if I didn’t have the baby soon after.

@whereswaldo, I definitely googled because I’ve lost another huge chunk since my l&d visit and it said the same thing.

You can lose bits of your plug for a while. If you don’t go into labor soon after it regenerates itself. But as dilate you’ll lose it again.
