I have subchorionic hemorrhage at week 11 and had big bleeding then I rushed to emergency now it’s been 3 days bleeding just stopped but noticed brown blood. What is that mean is that dangerous for baby to having subchorionic hemorrhage ? Anyone else having same thing or had it before?
TIA
I had SCH and was closely monitored. Many women who have SCH can carry and deliver healthy babies. There are cases though when SCH can get big enough that it can cause the placenta to detach. So it all depends on how big the SCH is or if it gets bigger or if you get more. Work with your OB. Bleeding is to be expected. Best case scenario your body will absorb the blood and the SCH will resolve on its own like mine did. My best advice is to be monitored by your OB rather than in ER.
I had it with my second. Definitely understandable to worry. I’m still not clear as to why it happens. But it goes away. The brown blood is more likely to be the rest of the old blood coming out. Absolutely visit your doctor if it you don’t feel right about it.
i also know plenty of women on here have had one and gone on to have a healthy successful pregnancy
I had one with this pregnancy. Brown blood is old blood so you should be ok. SCH may resolve on their own. The OB found mine at 6 weeks and it corrected itself by 13 weeks. You are at risk of a miscarriage so you are advised to take it slow and some OB’s will tell you to be on pelvic rest. You should see you OB for further instructions. I know it sounds bad but There is nothing the doctors can do. Good luck momma. Sending you lots of prayers.🙏🏻
