@laniejay, I need u. Or expert car seat peeps. Got 5 point high back booster for my 6&1/2 year I’d for Dh’s car. The requirements are up to 50lbs my son is 55lbs and he meets the height. So it’s still safer for the 5 point high back correct? Need help ASAP!!!

@ss3mom, yup there’s quite a few. The Britax frontier goes to 90 lbs harnessed
Does the manual say stop use at 50lbs? If so it's measured by force and weight which means in an accident the weight max for the belt isn't ideal for the force.
You cannot use the harness if he’s over 50 lbs.
K that’s what I was afraid of. So I have to use the actual seat belt for him?
Are you asking if it’s still safe to use the five point harness?
