I desperately need to lose weight, fast. I’m 24 yo, 5’2” and about 170 give or take a few lbs. I’m technically obese. I just started a gym membership today. I know NOTHING about dieting. I obviously know I need to cut out all the sugary pop and drink water only, but what else should I try to stay away from?

No carbs at night..eat your meals in portions, 3 meals a day. Plus 2 snacks in between. Do cardio no weight yet into you loose weight.

Honestly, everything in moderation. Cut your portion sizes, stay heavy on the protein to keep you fuller longer, and be active each day even if it’s just a walk. Stick to it & you’ll gradually lose weight in a healthy way that’s not gimmicky fat burn shakes.

Fast in the mornings. Don’t eat till mid day. Or you can go the Keto Diet route?

I started walking to work since the weather isn’t bad, I drink a gallon of water a day, I go to the gym almost every day, I sub junk food and late snacks for pineapples or strawberries, I don’t eat bread at all and I try to eat small meals & tons of water

I was the same 5’2 171lbs pre pregnancy. (With my 1st) I dropped to 124lbs after my son. I wanna be around 145-150lbs.

Get on Pinterest, watch YouTube videos do some research and see what would be something that might work out better for you, there’s a ton of information out there that it can get overwhelming but take one step at a time, make small changes like baking your food instead of frying it, water instead of sugary drink and so on
