What’s a first time mom mistake you made? Mines was forgetting to pack extra clothes and the top to her bottle lol
My daughter slipped off the bed not proud of that luckily she landed on a pillow and she’s fine but I definitely learned my lesson and I felt
Horrible about it I could have killed her
Forgetting the bottle. And water thank goodness it was only a half hour car trip and there was a store where we were going.
Mines gunna sound terrible but it lasted literally less than 4-5 seconds, I put my son in his swing and clipped him in and turned the swing on and turned around to make his bottle, my mom immediately noticed it was going fast and I turned around and realized it had a setting for fast medium and slow and I turned it all the way up on accident 🤦♀️
Oh geeze so many with my 1st he used after market head rest in his carrier as the 1 that came with it was "too loose", forgot pieces to his bottle at home, not letting anyone help me with him (told them I had him he was my responsibility no one elses) only time anyone got him from me was when i was in full meltdown emotionally, forward faced before 1yr old(mom told me it was okay) hmm I'm sure theres more but yep I was the "bad" mom for a bit
Sorting all the baby clothes by the size on the tag as opposed to grouping them by actual, physical size. My daughter missed out on so many cute outfits 😭
@flamingomom, I’m like a super idiot I didn’t even sort them by nb 0-3 months so on, I literally just sorted them by sleeveless, sleeves, long sleeves... stuff like that then I realized very quickly that I’m pulling out clothes in a hurry that are for 9 months like wtf?!? Hahaha
@flamingomom, it was sooo bad during the last trimester and even worse after Joey came
Letting my son nurse without a diaper on. 😂
I forward faced my oldest kiddo at 1, used after market products and generally just didn’t do anything right with the car seat until #2 came around.
I did the same with forward facing for quite a few months 🤦🏼♀️
@emmawatts98, he was 2.5 when I turned him back around to rearfacing. So he was forward facing around 1 1/2 years before I really learned anything about car seat safety. I’m just glad we were never in an accident.
I didn't know that after market products were unsafe in car seats. I had a head rest that I got from my aunt in my sons. I thought they were safe, she has like 10 kids so why would she knowingly give me something unsafe for my baby.
mine was feeling like i needed to pack EVERYTHING anytime we left 😂 i was really lugging around a fully packed backpack like we were going away for a weekend
One time we went somewhere over night and I had a big tote full of crap 😂
Lmao same I would pack everything just to go to the store
Pack everything BUT something to keep them entertained🤦🏼 I will pack any and everything even tho I know we won't need it and STILL forget to pack some toys or something. I still do it lol. I will get somewhere and they start getting fussy and realize I have nothing for them to play with.
