☁️✨DREAM JOB!✨☁️
I’m curious. What is your dream job? If you had no obstacles in your way or could create it, what would your job be? Or are you already in your dream job? I like finding out everyone’s passions/interests 😊
I’d love to be a baker. I love baking it’s relaxing for me and I’m really good at it. Cheesecake is my specialty
I have yet to make an awesome cheesecake. They always come out just ok
@mojobebes, I perfected mine about 5 cheesecakes ago. Been trying since I was about 18 so took 10 years
I'd be a herbalist 😁 or if people would pay me to can/freeze their garden goods i would be set
Hmmmm interesting. I’m not very aware of what herbalist do unless you grow weed 😂
@mojobebes, that's part of it 😉 there are medicinal properties of herbs and flowers that one can make it tintures, salves, tea, oils. It's part of the alt Med community
I'd love to own a bakery. I love baking and seeing people love what I make. I just made some cookies that my coworkers specifically asked me to make and I can't wait to see them all be eaten.
@alysavage, OMG! That sounds soooooo good! Send me the recipe please!
@alysavage, this is what I would do: I would perfect like 5-10 really good cookie/cake recipes. Start an IG account and start posting pictures of your creations. Make some pretty business cards (which are pretty affordable). Make the cookies/cake, leave it in the break room with your cards and start advertising your new business! It will start off slow but if you put effort in it it will grow by word of mouth.
Hmm that sounds cool but I'm a little anxious about whether or not it would work... I'm too much of a worrywart sometimes I think lol. And message me I'll definitely give you the recipe! It's so good and pretty fun to make.
My husband wants to do the same! I’m encouraging him to do so just so I can make him do my meal plans for free!
Veterinarian technician for large animals. Specifically large cats. I’d love that job!! I worked for a vet for about 18 years but we only did cats and dogs. We did a wild cat that was someone’s pet. It was an ocelot which was cool but we had to sedate it to even look at it hahaha!!
With specificity in large cats, where would you work? The zoo?
@mojobebes, a zoo or a sanctuary something like that. I’d prefer to be where they are and not in a zoo. Like a sanctuary for sure
I wanted to be Peter Jennings (news anchor). I quickly learned in college that I did not have the drive to be a reporter. I could not stick a microphone in front of a grieving/distraught person and ask them how they feel.
*I guess I didn’t really answer the question. 🤔
😂 that’s ok. What’s important is that you went for it and found out that it wasn’t for you. What did you switch to?
@mojobebes, I kept the major, Mass Communication, which is broad and included radio, tv, public relations and print. Instead of picking a focus, I took classes from all of them. Ended up with a jack of all trades, master of none degree. 😂 I paid for school myself and needed to get done in 4 years so changing my major wasn’t going to happen. I also had a minor in agriculture so I thought I might do something ag writing related? Turns out I’m not super ambitious! 🤷🏼♀️😂 I worked in insurance for a few years after college and now have worked for a food broker for almost 9 years.
*So, to actually answer your question, my dream job would still be news anchor, if I were a different type of person. 😂😊
@mojobebes, watching vials fill with blood and sticking people with needles sounds so rewarding 😂 like therapeutic.. am I weird??
My ideal work schedule would include a different job every day of the week. Something like this:
Monday - Attorney
Tuesday- Teacher
Wednesday - Children’s Book Author
Thursday - Realtor
Friday - Homeless Shelter Volunteer
Saturday - Peace Corps Member
Sunday - Stay at home mama
I have so many passions which include children, art, music, animals, nature, writing, the legal field, traveling, real estate, helping people, and loving on my family. In order to be fulfilled, I could never pursue just one interest. That’s where I struggle so much! I do have my legal degree and my human resources degree and once my kids are in school I plan to jump back into the legal field again. Hopefully criminal law again, since that’s always been my passion. But I always feel so torn about all of it because I don’t want to choose just one path.
I AM THE SAME WAY! I want to do everything! I’m always torn between choosing something that helps people and my creative side.
I would love to own a children’s clothing boutique
That’s so sweet. The one in town always stays busy because they monogram their items. Just a little tip when you open 😉
@mojobebes, WE ARE MONOGRAMMING WHORES AROUND HERE 😂😂😂
An Wildlife veterinarian... close behind a medical marijuana tester or a food critic.
You would be an awesome food critic if you are a marijuana tester! 😂
Yes!!! To the wildlife vet!! And mj food tester too hahahaha
My dream job is being a speech pathologist. I did it for two short years but have decided to focus on my family for a few years but will absolutely go back to that career. I loved working with children and this was a great way to do it.
So jealous that you know what you want and already will be doing it! That’s awesome!
That’s so cute, aw. What a fun job!
That’s a blessing that life guided you into something that became a dream job for you! I’ve taken some cake decorating classes at Michael’s and let’s just say y’all make it look easy!
I teach dance and ceramic sculpting classes at a high school and I love love love my job. It’s so rewarding. However, I’ve always wanted to have my own dance classes at a studio. Maybe some time in the future :) I also give private voice lessons so it might be fun to do something with that as well. I’m not too worried about all that though, I’m pretty darn content where I am now if I do say so myself. 💓
Dance is my passion. I did it growing up and did musical theatre in high school. Haven’t danced since I graduated but, now having my daughter, I want to enroll in dance again and hopefully dance with her if she is interested.
@mojobebes, I double majored in Theatre and Vocal Performance in college and I had taken dance classes for as long as I can remember lol. Performing arts, whether you choose to do shows and actually perform or not, is so good for the human mind, body, and spirit. I encourage you to get back into it! I hope my girls will want to give it a shot but if not that’s perfectly fine :)
@mommabrina, I totally agree! My musical theatre program was in the hood and it was another outlet for kids to explore other than sports. I have seen so much growth exposing young minds to the arts.
My dream is to open a sober house and help inmates return back to society after incarceration. I’ve seen how broken those two things are and there isn’t enough support
That’s honorable. And since you have seen what the program lacks you can improve it and change lives 😊
@mojobebes, hopefully! It’s in the 10 year plan so we shall see😂
Mine includes working with children, using creativity, and improving mental health. So I am going to apply for a masters program in psychology. I’ve been doing purchasing for 10 years now and it’s time to do what I actually want to do.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
