Would I be able to exchange these unopened (but box is cracked) for size 3... without a receipt? 😅 anyone know?

Yes, as said above, Walmart usually will as long as they sell that box size. Just say you purchased them there even if you really didn’t. When I did it, they just gave me a Walmart gift card for the amount and I went and picked up the new size.
