Ladies I have a question I have been in a domestic violence situation since I was pregnant with my daughter! She is 2 now it has been on and off the last May he choked me in front of my child! He has been verbal a lot! Yesterday I thought everything would go smoothly but he was being verbal then he got violent he hit me in my face 3 times didn’t bruise me but my head hurts and when I see light my eyes hurt! He hit me in front of my daughter while driving! He could of killed us he was speeding etc! He made my daughter cry! The only proof I have is a voice recording! What should I do ? I filed a police report

Restraining order & leave! He has no business putting his hands on you and he doesn’t respect you nor your child or he wouldn’t be doing it . & kids pick up and see everything no matter how much you try to hide it ! You don’t want her to grow up thinking it’s ok for a man to treat you that way ! Praying for you and your daughter that you find the strength . I know it’s not easy but it also isn’t healthy

Report him and leave. He will never change. What if he kills you and your daughter doesn't have you? It could get violent enough that that happens. You probably love him and it sucks but you and your daughter deserve better. You don't want someone to do the same to her one day.

Still report it to the police. I had absolutely no evidence with my son's father sexually assulting me. He broke into my house too. I was scared and locked my bedroom door and my then 5 year old was.sleeping in my bed luckily. And his excuse. The backdoor was unlocked. Who goes to someone else's house. Pound on their front door for 20 minutes then creeps into their backyard to the back door? A few days later I went to the court house to file for a restraining order. I got a 30 day temporary one and had a court date. Be never showed up so it was automatically granted to me for a year

Should I file a restraining order ? I filed one last year but we was still around each other! Do you think they will approve it this time ? Because he has gotten worst I’m scared for my life and daughter

Definitely report it. Report anything that needs to. It's.good evidence for if you if you ever go to court for custody or just plain evidence. And if I were you I would never let him in your house again. Unless he can prove he got help and is better years down the road. This is a.safety matter and you have a young daughter.
