If it’s someone close to you, just be flat out. Be nice and just say the things that make you think they’re using again.

With my S.O. (he was a big pot smoker, and i told him no more until its legal for the sake of our son), i either just came out and asked him, or i jokingly said i came across a drug test at the store and thought about getting it. Id be able to decipher from his response whether he was or not
