Not always true. I drove 3 days after my csection back and forth from the nicu. 30 miles one way.
@nap.queen, like I said they recommend waiting. I didn’t say it was impossible or that everyone followed recommendations.
@farmers_wife10, i was never told I shouldn’t drive. I even asked, and they said it was fine.

I had to drive my self home, but it was 5 days after. I did drive home to get things the next day though because we had to stay in the nicu for 5 days and I didn't trust DH to get everything I would need lol

If you deliver via c-section they recommend waiting 2 weeks before driving. Vaginal birth there isn’t a recommendation for waiting
