17 Weeks Today. & I Have A Cold And Nothing Is Working. Looks Like I'll Be Headed To The Local ER Pretty Soon😪 Even Thoe I'm Sure Its Nothing They Can Do 🙄🙄
Please don’t go to the ER for a low grade fever. It’s a waste of everyone’s time and resources. The emergency room is for... wait for it... EMERGENCIES.
Are you feeling any better??
No need for the er 100.1 isn’t even that high I wouldn’t be taking all those meds as well it’s a virus it will run it’s course I’d take the Tylenol 1-2 max try taking a Lukewarm bath to bring it down a bit and make you more comfortable if your worried about a secondary infection such as ears or bronchitis I’d just make a regular doctor appointment I wouldn’t risk er pregnant during flu season 😓
I wouldn't go unless it's over 100.3 and won't go down for a considerable amount of time. Drink more water and rest. Only thing they are going to do is give you fluids and run you up a ole good bill doing test. But I if you feel like nothings working then go ahead make sure you don't have some kind of infection.
You shouldn’t go to the Er. There’s nothing they can do or will do. It’s a low grade fever. Take some Tylenol, turn on a fan and lay down in bed. I would listen to @beakymcspence, and everyone else.. she’s an OB nurse, and hella smart. (Love you boo 😂😘). But seriously the ER Is for an emergency. You just need some Tylenol and rest.
The E in ER = EMERGENCY
Your barely there fever is not an emergency. Please don’t go there, you’ll just get yourself more sick 😷
You’re hot and sweating because you’re pregnant. When your low grade fever goes away, you will most likely still feel hot and sweaty throughout your entire pregnancy. Hell, I’m 12 months PP and I’m still hot and sweaty 99% of the time. lmao 😂🙃
When you’re insistent on doing something ridiculous then people are going to share their opinions.

@monicanicole140, Will your insurance even cover a non-emergent visit? Some won’t cover things that aren’t emergencies, which this is not. 🤦🏼♀️
You should definitely go in. Might get lucky and only end up coming out with the flu instead.
And Also May Be Low Grade But Seeing How Im Sitting Under An Air Conditioner And Fan And Sweating Something's Wrong. But Thanks For The..... Opinions.
You’re pregnant could be hot flashes!
A fever is a sign your body is fighting an infection so no matter how cold you make yourself, you’ll still have a fever. If you’re that concerned, call your OB.
Ac and a fan? Making yourself cold can cause a fever to go higher. Did you not know that? You can induce shivering and it's best to keep at room temperature
FYI your immune system is fragile when you’re pregnant bc it’s all going to the baby. You’re more prone to get colds and viruses. Best thing to do is rest and drink lots of water 😊
An ER trip is a waste of your time and hazardous to your and baby’s health. You have a very low grade temp and just need to stay home and rest.
Try urgent care after hours clinic if your normal dr is closed. The er isnt a place you want to go unless it's an emergency you could end up catching something worse than a cold there
The ER? Seriously, why? So they can tell you to take Tylenol, rest, and drink a lot of water? I don’t even give my kids meds for a fever that low.
@monicanicole140, I’m just saying. Most doctors don’t even consider that a fever.
Do not go to the ER. Unless you want to go home with something you didn’t have when you got there.
100.1 is a low grade fever, definitely not ER worthy. Save yourself the time and money, stay home resting and drinking lots of water.
You would be putting yourself in more danger health wise going to the ER being around all those sick people. It’s very common to have a cold and fever during pregnancy, and 100.1 isn’t that high and no need to rush to the ER. Continue taking Tylenol, or maybe try robitusstin, (that helped me during pregnancy when I would get sick) get lots of rest, and make sure you’re drinking lots of fluids.
Benadryl won’t break a fever, and nothing the ER can do will bring down a low grade fever. Unless your vomiting and dehydrated id avoid going there and exposing yourself to more germs hehe
BC I have been popping Tylenol and benadryl like candy and everything makes it worse. Maybe They'll Have Something To At Least Break My Fever And Headache.

There’s nothing wrong at all with having a gender reveal to find out or announce what you are having. 🙄
Almost 39 weeks and still nothing 😩

🙄🙄🙄
