Ladies, keep your beautiful babies safe! Driving in a car is the single most dangerous thing we do every day. I hate seeing pictures of little ones forward facing or seeing parents justifying forward facing their 1 year olds because they’re “tall” for their age. I know reminders like this are posted frequently, but maybe someone will see this today who doesn’t know this info.

My son IS tall for his age. He's about as tall as his 4 year old friend, closing in on 40". Strangers think he's 3-4, even before he turned two. Even though his 5.5 year old cousin is on the smaller side, they weigh the same. And he is STILL rear. He still fits well within the seats maximums, so the ''my child is too tall to fit" is a dumb argument. Yes, it's a pain to get him in there, and turning him around would make my life easier. But it's safer, so I will do my best to keep him rear as long as possible.

I agree. My son is closing in on 38” at 2y4m but he’s not going to max out on his rearfacing weight for a while longer. I can’t stand the “my kid is tall” argument either.

Both my boys are forward facing but I her remarks and funny faces when I say they are both still in a 5 point harness. My boys are 6&1/2 and 4&1/2 and they aren’t getting out of those seats for a while now

I see that in my future, too. I already get comments on him being rear 🙄

@love_linds, it’s a graco 4 in one I believe it’s called. It went rear facing to forward facing then high back booster then regular booster.

That was an accident....I don’t know how that happened! 🤦🏼♀️ I’m all for rear facing for as long as possible!

My oldest was kept rear facing until her third birthday in Feb. I would have kept her rear facing for life if I could have.
