Hi! So I have a question. My son is almost 3 months old. I'm currently a SAHM so sometimes during the day I watch TV, I've noticed that the baby will look at the screen if he's faced near it. To be clear, I don't neglect him when I watch TV during the day and do plenty of developmental activities with him, but I was wondering if it's detrimental that he looks toward it sometimes. I imagine it's just an interesting colorful thing and that's why he was drawn to it but wanted to see what other people thought!
My girls have always looked in the TVs direction, they don't necessarily watch it tho. My TV is always on because I hate to be in the quiet(and the complete dark) but they only time it really catches their attention I when theme songs play. They dance along to most of them.
Enjoy your time! It’s not like you’re putting shows on for him and sitting him in front of the tv like some people do!
No way. Babies and toddlers are bound to look at the tv if its colorful and moving. Wouldn't worry about it.
I think I read children shouldn’t have screen time until 1.5 2 years old. That being said my daughter will look at the tv sometimes too especially when the tv “sleeps” and the picture screen saver comes up. I think as long as you aren’t sitting them in front of the tv to have them watch for entertainment it’s probably not a huge issue.
Yeah I'm definitely not trying to put things on for him I generally just watch TV and have him face me so I can still play with him and talk to him, I was just getting nervous that maybe having it on would hurt him somehow
@liebleind96, I say enjoy your tv time you’ve earned it! Being a mom is hard 😊
Racial nickname
I sometimes call my lo monkey. To me he looks like a little monkey. My so says it's racist and offensive. What do you think?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
It happened....?
2.5 years and today was the day he heard me fart. I thought I could crop dust him, but it came out full force. He looked at me and busted out laughing. ?
Who else has financial issues within their relationship?? Or am I just lucky 🙄🙄
Not sure if I'm being just mean or what. But my SO used $160 from me this morning. I gave him my bank card because he needed $60 to get material for work. His boss was going to give it back to him at the end of the day. So instead of $60 he took out $160. Which I was a little pissed. (One of the reasons I just can't let him use my card. I have to go get the money from the atm myself if I'm giving it to him) then, to...

I feel so bad for this kid. Imagine watching tv and you see am imagine of a woman holding what appears to be your father's head. I think it's easy to forget that there's a kid involved here.
I don't think it will hurt anything when they look at it.
