Hey working mamas, I have a job interview tomorrow morning, how do I go about letting them know I’m pregnant and will need maternity leave?
Thank you! I have multiple doc visits towards the end of April so I guess I won’t tell unless I have to
Idk about your state, but I know some there is a law you don’t qualify for maternity leave unless you’ve been there for a certain amount of time.
Wait until you're hired or you probably won't be
@devyn.nichol, once I was hired, I was on a crew with like 6 other people and I ended up telling them I was expecting and a few days later, my boss brought it up to me and congratulated me. I was annoyed that someone told her for me when they all said it was between our work crew but it was my fault for telling a coworker first instead of the boss. I think my boss was a little bothered by it but she knew there wasn’t much she could do.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Especially because you're so early on, try to avoid bringing it up. I had an interview at Ulta when I was 7 months but he couldn't tell i was pregnant. It was going SO well until I had to tell him the reason I couldn't be on a ladder was that I was pregnant and I could tell that killed my chance
