C-section Mama's! How do you deal with your hubby being gone for your last night at the hospital? I'm still pretty sore and he's been a huge help and I hate bugging the nurses (I know it's their job) I just wanna do as much as I can by myself... I can def go to the bathroom but idk about picking up and putting layton Down in his crib and changing him

Now when I look back at my stay in the hospital and the first few weeks out of the hospital, I have no idea how I did it. I didn’t have her dads help at all. And my family left after I had her. I think because it was just me, that I didn’t think about it and I just did it because I knew I had to. I believe that’s how I healed so fast as well, because I had to take care of her so I wasn’t able to sit and have help. I had to get up and make it happen. My daughter was having tummy issues so she didn’t really have to be changed much at all. But getting her in and out the bassinet was tough, especially when she would be crying and I had to hurry to her 😩. So it wasn’t recommended at all but she slept on me most the time. Her gassiness had her extremely fussy most the day so I always had her. She would go to the nursery so I could shower but that’s about it. And she didn’t go much because I honestly didn’t shower much lol. She needed me and I wanted to get her better. Didn’t get much rest lol. It’s hard mommy, but if I can do it then you can do it! Lean on the nurses for things you absolutely can’t do because they can help and take baby to nursery for a while. But if you don’t want to then it is for sure possible without them! I am proof.. And if you have to continue getting up and etc like I did, just think of it as it’s helping you heal. Moving around helps even though it hurts like hell! Best wishes mommy, congratulations, and get well soon!

Hmm, I didn’t see much difference when he was there or not. I would still pick up and change and feed my baby myself, and I didn’t wake him up every time i needed to go to the bathroom. Babys crib was next to mine and his couch was across the room from us.

@briannalynn547 @zaka851 @shaylajackson931 I must be such a wimp cause I can't handle the burning pain that the stitches are causing😭😭 I'm getting up and sitting down fine but the walking is killing me

oh yea it rolls up a bit but girl I couldn’t do without it. Hurts while they’re putting it on but it always made me feel better after. Are they not giving you pain meds?? You should ask for them if not. Because that helps too. And if you’re hurting too bad and it’s not time for them to bring you any then still ask because you can get some.

Don't feel bad. That's what they're there for. My hubby was at work 2 of the 4 days/nights I was in the hospital. I did a lot myself, but if u need something or need help, ask them.
