So out of nowhere, my son has started having extreme diarrhea. Theres been no change in diet, other than having to give a little more formula than usual because he wont sit still long enough to eat real food. He will eat some food, but his diet is still predominantly formula. For the past three days or so, hes had 2 or 3 diarrhea blowouts a day. They are so awful smelling it isnt even funny, and you can tell they irritate his butt because we'll change him immediately, but its still red wherever it touched. I plan on taking him to the doctor on monday, but does anyone have any ideas/tips for the mean time?
Sounds like he could be developing a lactose sensitivity. Happened to J around a year too. We put him on lactaid, started making him eat more foods, especially crackers, and his belly calmed down very quickly. Bananas, applesauce, bread are all good binders
So everybody says that spicy food and or castor oil helps go into labor because it irritates your bowels so can having diarrhea send you into labor?
Anyone else’s 1 year old still drink formula? My son still drinks about 32 ounces a day. He eats food 3 times a day but doesn’t eat very much at all and is very limited to what he can eat. He will eat Cheerios, bananas cut in small pieces, sweet potatoes in small pieces, broccoli in small pieces. He doesn’t eat very much at a time. For example for breakfast he will eat half of a banana or half of an avocado and that is it. He will eat Gerber stage 3 foods and will eat the whole 5oz jar for the m...
Waiting on the dr to call because my son is eating four oz at a time but every diaper change is a poopy diaper so I think the formula might be messing with him and making him eat sooner than he should 💙
It's Dinner time, still in the hospital, still on a liquid diet it's been 3 days, fuck that I'm about to eat some damn food!
So we are eligible for daycare but because of my so check stubs we now have to pay 900 dollars a month, my so makes about 800 more than I but because he pays the mortgage he said he is not helping with the daycare. Originally I paid daycare and all utilities. But now I am supposed to pay 100 more than his mortgage is, plus utilities I will be completely broke all month. Even if he paid daycare and the mortgage he would still have 1600 hundred a month where as I will have maybe 300 if that. I hav...
It could be a stomach bug. Try the binder foods like lizibear said as well as some pedialyte to keep him hydrated as well as his blood sugar up Incase it decides to drop.
