Anybody ever had a root canal? This is going to be my first and I’m hoping my last on Tuesday😔does it hurt after treatment? Did they give you pain meds?

I had 3 root canals. First couple days it hurts. One was in high school. Second one was on my birthday and a week after my birthday. I highly reccomend a crown later. They will crumble like a cookie after the root canal.

I hope the dentist does the crown right after the root canal being that my nerve is bad

My son just had one. He had a little discomfort after. Said Tylenol or motrin. He used Tylenol and was ok  .
