Maybe an odd question don’t judge me 😭 but I think my anxiety gets the best of me so I must ask. Or need some positivity or “you can do it” 🤷🏻♀️😂
How do you grocery shop alone with two babes?! I have a 2 1/2 and a 2 month old. The buggy’s we have here aren’t set up for the carseat to sit inside the buggy and ALSO have room or place for a toddler to sit.. my oldest can walk yes and usually does fine walking along side me but I freak out about having her just walking beside me.. I don’t have one of the kiddie leashes, which would make me feel more safe with her walking.. I have a carrier to wear my youngest but I feel like she’s personally still a little bit too small for it so I haven’t pulled it out to use in public yet, only tried it on at home with her. I’m honestly overthinking here but ugh I hate to have so much anxiety over shopping.
I can’t possibly do it. My husband is hardly around to help. There’s no room in the cart and my kids get antsy. My daughter doesn’t like being worn. So I do Walmart grocery pickup. It’s free. It helps me stay in budget. It gives people jobs. Best thing ever.
Yeah, I’d try wearing the little one and having the two year old in the seat of the cart if she’ll sit there. If not, at least you have both hands free and room in the cart🤷♀️
Baby wearing and in the front of the buggy or she holds on to the cart. Its took a long time for her to be allowed out. Now we start in the cart and she goes mommy i wont run😂😂😂
Omg this is seriously one of the things I’ve thought about lately.
Honestly never thought about it until i had to make my first trip ever with two 😭 it’s really not terrible but overthinking it and all the things that could go wrong make it seem that way.
@twistedrenots, yeah I do not let my daughter walk in Walmart. Probably sounds overprotective but with all the kids and people being taken I’m not about to risk it unless I have her tied to me😂
Girl you can do it. You will find a method that works best for you through trail and error.I have seen so many creative ways to shop with a baby and toddler. I have tried some myself.
Push the stroller and. Pull shopping cart. I have. Had toddler in the shopping cart behind me.
Put the infant car seat in the bigger part of the buggie. (It goes across the side or sit it in)
Use the infant carrier or like many African women use a big frabic blanket and wrap around you and lay the baby. If you know any African females ask them how. Or YOuTube.
I have just waited to the kids came home from work then leave the kids with him.
I can totally understand your anxiety. It's so hard to keep a good eye on a mobile little one and shop. Do you have any alternative? Like shopping at night or on weekends when someone can be with them?
I usually will take them to my moms and just take one of them with me or something like that but she had surgery or her foot and isn’t able to right now. Unfortunately thats my only help.
@twistedrenots I would definitely invest in a backpack "leash" for your 2 year old, then. We had one for our daughter when she was little because she would just walk off with anyone when she wasn't old enough to understand. And my sister used one with her daughter until she was 6 or 7, she's on the autism spectrum and has no personal understanding if safety. They have a place and are wonderful if they keep them safe and close in stressful situations. I hope your mom heals fast...maybe she could watch the baby if you set her up with bottles, diapers and wipes close by.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I do grocery pick up. I use Wal-Mart or festival grocery store. I order online pick a time for pick-up and they bring it all to your car for you! It’s a lifesaver
