Moms that had babies in late spring/early summer when you brought outfits in your hospital bag for the baby did you still include sleepers? Or just short sleeved outfits? My son was born in December so I brought a couple sleepers and a going home outfit that included a sweater. This time her going home outfit is a gown with short sleeves but I have no idea if bringing a sleeper or two is still ok for the hospital stay since it can be kind of chilly in there? These are some of the outfits I was choosing between. Last time I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days so I'm just packing incase that happens again so 3 outfits and her going home outfit. Which ones should I take?

I had my first son June 3rd! Warm in the afternoon, cold in the morning, the weather was unpredictable! I brought a sleeper and he went home in a long sleeve pant outfit because they’re so tiny and can’t regulate their body temp yet! And they’re so skinny!

Ok! So sleepers are still fine? I love those the most Haha so should I just pack all 3 of the sleepers or like 2 sleepers and the 1 short sleeve/pant one that says cutest little sister?

@-boytribe I had the hardest time because I wasn't sure what I could bring. She's due may 24th so definitely close to around the time your 1st son was born. Thank you! 💜 we are so excited and all of her outfits are so cute it was so hard to pick lol

Thank you! I also love that it has the built in mittens in the sleeves. We found it at JC Penney I believe.

Newborns can’t regulate temp no matter the season. My son was born in June and I packed onesies and sleepers and socks. I had him layered up the entire time ☺️

My daughter was born mid May and I definitely had her in sleepers like that whole first month.

I had my son at the beginning of May. Typically where I’m at that’s already summer time. The day I was in labor it was 95 outside but they day we brought him home it was cold and rainy (very unusual!) I think I put him in maybe 2 or 3 sleepers when he was a newborn. He was only in a diaper the whole time I was at the hospital for skin to skin. When we brought him home he was in sweat pants and a long sleeve onesie. He peed on the original outfit we were planning on bringing him home in

I’m due early July and I am only bringing sleepers for this little guy. He won’t be outside and it will be cool in the hospital, our car and the house.
