Has anyone had a swollen arm for months and everything turn out to be fine? My doctor measured my right (dominant) wrist almost an inch bigger than my left today. The swelling goes all the way up my arm. Mild discomfort with heavy lifting and major discomfort with eating sugar and red meat. She felt all of lymph nodes and neck, checked the major artery in my armpit and said everything felt okay but to call if it gets worse because it could be a sign of an underlying blood clot. What?? I’ll be talking with my OB at my next appointment. Would you get a second opinion? I trust my doctor and she’s never seemed to be wrong before but this has me really freaked out. I’m also a young, generally healthy non-smoker.
