Anyone know what this could be?? My bf went to the gym and started itching so he came home and he has huge huge bumps all over his body his eye is so swollen its almost shut.
EDIT: thanks guys I told him to take a cold shower when he got home and I lathered him on with oils and he took benedryl. Its slowly going away!

@damians_mommy, hmm that’s so weird that he would get hives if nothing touched him. Did he use any new body wash or foods?
Definitely an allergic reaction! Take Benadryl, they even have Benadryl itch and relief cream you lather that up on his back also. Take cold or like warm shower not hot like pp said it will make it worse.
It's hives I get this if I take nsaids Benadryl and a cold shower. Don't do hot or warm because it makes it worse.
Hives, did he shower at the gym? It’s not good to shower in public areas because you can be exposed to a lot of nasty stuff that other people carry you can also catch stuff off the work out equipment so it’s best if he showers at home like my husband does after he goes to the gym.

Definitely benadryl. If he starts to have trouble breathing call the doctor! Someone must've had some sort of lotion/perfume on that they sweated onto a machine he used. A cold shower will help too. It will wash anything off. It helps with the itching and swelling. Oatmeal bath if it doesn't clear up in the next 6-8 hours is great too. Ugh that looks so painful.
