@brittanystewart304, yeah I had to get induced too. My water was leaking, and nothing was happening after that.

when I went in to the hospital while pregnant with Tinley I went because I thought I was in labor.
Which I was having contractions 2 minutes apart but wasn’t dilating or anything.
I had so much protein in my urine I had to be induced though. They started it on a Monday and I didn’t have her until Thursday morning. It was absolutely horrible.
I’ve been having contractions 3 minutes apart since yesterday, but again not dilating or anything so that’s why he mentioned induction again.
But I’m trying to push through the pain to see if he can come on his own. And I figured I would ask them tomorrow about stripping my membranes and go from there.

mine doesn’t strip the membranes. I just bounced on a yoga ball, and that’s how I started leaking, but my body wouldn’t dilate.

It doesn’t hurt. It’s just uncomfortable- and can be followed by cramping.

I got mine stripped at 37. That one hurt, but helps to breath through it. The one I had yesterday didn't hurt, was just slightly uncomfortable...so I have a feeling the one I had yesterday was a light sweep. :/ Still pregnant lol

Mine was pretty painful honestly and I cramped the rest of the day and went into labor the day after. So it was worth it but not what I would call fun or painless for me.
