How many of you still drank coffee while pregnant? I’m craving it! Even just a little decaf
I was told you can have 2 small cups a day. I would have a medium latte a few times a week, and was totally fine.
Back when I was pregnant with my oldest apparently it was bad to drink soda while pregnant 🤰 I was 18 at the time still drank Soda almost everyday but I always made sure to drink plenty of water. I know it’s not coffee but I never drank it pregnant barley drink it now haha.
I drank 1 cup a day and that was it but I really needed the energy for sure while I was working
I’m Dawn, and I’m a caffeine addict. I still drink a pot of coffee. I only use 4tbs of coffee for 12 cup pot. I normally use 10-12tbs for a 12pot. When I am in 1st trimester I stayed away from coffee all together and a soda for caffeine fix. Lol it tastes watered down. But it helps me lmao all my pregnancies I’ve drank coffee. And when I breastfed I go back to my normal caffeine intake. My kids have no sensitivity to caffeine while breastfeeding.
I was craving it too but was scared to drink any. But I worked at a learning academy and a parent of mine knew that’s what I was craving and she got me coffee like three times. So that’s the only times I had any during my pregnancy. I believe it’s ok if you drink it in moderation.
I didn't drink it but I did look into the studies of coffee during pregnancy. They had the women in the studies drinking a whole twelve pot craft every day... I'm not really shocked that when they took something to that extreme that they found a link to other issues... If you want a decaf coffee... Drink one :-)
@lakota-winyan links to miscarriage issues with kids having add and adhd ect
Yes ma'am. And my Dr said it was perfectly fine.
