So I’m starting to freak out. Carson has been progressively getting sicker over the past two weeks. He has a pretty severe cough and in the past week he has coughed so hard he’s vomited twice. I took him to the doctor on Friday and they said it wasn’t RSV and he just had a cold that would have to run its course. Last night he woke up scream crying while coughing and sounded like he was in pain which never happens so I picked him up and comforted him but he did the same thing at 1 and 4. I’m so worried about him. He normally eats 6 oz at a time but has slowed down on eating and had three bottles yesterday that were less than 4 oz.

I would keep bugging your pediatrician or get a second opinion. My daughter had a bad cough, I took her to urgent care and even the er (started a Thursday night) by the time Monday came for a check up with her pedi she had bronchiolitis.
Thats how my girls were, for about a month, the doctors wouldn't do anything for them until our last visit( which we had 7-8 in that month) where they prescribed a nebulizer for them which really helped clear them up.
I’m just freaking out. I don’t want him to keep getting worse but if it is just a cold I don’t want to keep taking him in for something they can’t do anything about
@price.emil they told us it was "just a cold, it'll pass" but one twin stopped breathing multiple times and couldnt get her fever down which is why they were taken in often.
@amberbushatz14, he doesn’t have a fever. The highest he got was 99.8 so in that aspect I think we are okay

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week.
