I’m 24 weeks and 5 days pregnant and I haven’t felt my baby move at all today! Should I go in and get monitored? This will be my 3rd baby therefore Iv been feeling tons of movement since about 16 weeks. So since today I haven’t felt any. Iv drank ice cold water, soda, at a candy bar. Laid on my left side for about an hour and nothing. Iv pushed gently on my belly, that Normally gets him to squirm but not today. I’m starting to freak out now!

So this is what happened I waited for my husband to get home from work at 7;30 so he could watch the two kids while I go in. I went in the nurses didn’t take me seriously they said that it’s completely normal for me to not feel movement at 24.5 weeks gestation even though Iv been feeling movements since 16 weeks. They said baby’s are allowed to have lazy days just like adults where they just don’t want to move no matter what you do. I begged for a stressed test or even an ultrasound just so I know he’s okay. And said the ultrasound isn’t Necessary and they dont do stress test until after your 28 weeks. Because apparently if your under 28 weeks my hospital thinks that’s it’s not a viable chance for the baby to live outside the womb. My hospital is extremely small we don’t even have a nicu room. So if your baby has issues after birth they send you and the baby by ambulance to a different hospital 2 hours away who has a nicu room. So I left heart broken, extremely upset and couldn’t stop crying last night that no one would take the time to ease my mind and check to make he’s okay in there.I have an ob appointment today at 11 so I’ll see what they say.
