Guys - for the outfit should i get short sleeve ? Or long sleeve ? For the ride home - it’ll be August but .. i feel like air conditioning ... it’s better long sleeve ? I’m so used to having winter babies ....
So my baby girl is due in April. I already have a TON of clothes.. A lot of them my cousin gave me but I bought a lot too but I'm still going to buy some. My question is who had a baby around April and did you need any long sleeved stuff? I have some long sleeved stuff for her but I mainly have been buying short sleeved stuff.
Advice from mothers that have already had summer babies or just know from others lol what all do I need or can bring to hospital on delivery. Can I bring my own hospital gown/robe or do I have to wear theirs ? And summer babies.... i understand the mittens are still good for covering their nails from scratching themselves..but do they need long sleeve clothing or short sleeve in July?? I am wanting to order baby coming home outfit and getting some pics done in hospital. just didn't know if they need short or long sleeve clothing

My son was born August 5th and did a light long sleeved shirt, pants, hat etc. I heard rule of thumb is dress them how you are dressed but add an extra layer. I’m always hot though so I don’t know how to dress a November baby! HALP!

Yup my baby’s due August too! Yessss honestly i know i have two kids but #1 i forgot legit everything ...#2 they are both winter babies !!!

how did you dress them coming home? I know here in November it’s pretty chilly. I just get so nervous like “are they to warm? Are they to cold?” Cause their skin is so delicate 😭

i bought short sleeve undershirt onsies put them on under a full one piece thicker suit , a hat and a snow suit ( when i put them in the car seat, i had two blankets one that was wrapped around him tight once he was strapped in and one on top) i just put two layers , and covered up the car seat so no wind touched them.

Long sleeves with hand mittens and footies. We had our AC on all summer. It was nice to keep baby all bundled. Plus, you can keep baby from scratching his/herself incase they come out with long nails!

I got some footie pjs that say "little brother" for his ride home. Sterling was a winter baby too so I'm in the same boat.
