I'm thinking about having the implant in after this baby, i had it before I fell pregnant I'm just wondering how long after birth you can have one put in, does it have to be so many weeks or months after giving birth? Or can you book in for one once baby is born?

Usually it’s after you stop bleeding unless you’ve had sex then you have to go on the pill for 7 days or until you can get another appointment. They won’t fit it if you’ve had sex within a week of going for it fitting x
I went for consultation the other day and in the leaflet they gave me it says you can have it as soon as you book in after birth x
I had to wait 6 weeks with my daughter , I’m going to go for the copper coil this time but also have to wait 6 weeks xxx
Oh I was hoping if I stayed in after the birth they could put one in while I'm there x

6 weeks usually, tell your doctor what BC you want and they have to order it.

Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
How long after baby birth do you get the birth certificate in the mail??? I have the SSCard already
is it safe to start birth control right after having a baby or do you have to wait? i want to start right after if i can cause i know you're more fertile after giving birth
