My so already tells me brazenly that he doesn’t want to poop in the toilet. I tell him that he has to because he’s a big boy and that everyone goes to poop in the toilet. But he tells me: no I don’t want to, never. What am I gonna do? How can I bribe him into it or something? 😭

Are used to babysit a boy who had the same issue. We started giving him “poop treats” when he would go in the potty. Sometimes chocolate or fruit snacks, worked like a charm.

I thought of giving him gummies as a reward and I have, but then he doesn’t do it anymore

my nephew liked getting stickers and decorated a poster when my sister did potty training. I knew another kid who got a quarter to add to his piggy bank. I’m not there yet with my girl but I guess you just have to figure out what speaks to your kid for a reward system.

stickers are a great idea.
