What's a good brand of buzz clippers? We spend an insane amount at the hair dressers... I'm over it.

My teen likes his hair a certain way and it took years to find someone who could do it. Unfortunately it's at a salon, costs $40 + tip and is 45 mins away. His hair is insane and he needs it done every 3-4 weeks. Lately he's been going to her every other cut and I've been maintaining in between.

Dh just uses a #1 all over (on what's left 😬🤣) ds2 is my sensory kiddo and going somewhere is a no. Luckily he has wavy hair so it hides imperfections. DS3 is super curly so I just use scissors.

Everyone got a cut tonight ... saving $200 a month would be amazing. I just need better tools.

If you have a Sally beauty near you I recommend you go there . They have good quality buzz clippers there a bit pricey but worth it . The brand *Wahl* is great for cutting

Looks like I'm on the right track, the one I have now is a wahl... but its 12 years old 😬🤣 I clean and oil it, but I think its had its day.

Yeah mine was 12 and just started acting funny and the guides kept breaking. I just bout the $50 wahl set at Walmart. It has a cape, scissors, comb, lots of guides, maintaining tools, and a few other extras. It works great! Just had to oil it before first use then I had no trouble at all, it cut much neater and quicker than my old one.

@jenx it is super handsome on him. Just hard on the wallet 🤣 and between school, work, extra curriculars it's hard to get to her so frequently.

@laniejay, I did something almost identical to this (minus the product) to my two year old last haircut with my wahl clippers and a pair of hair scissors. Looked great. Tonight both boys got shorter hair. My eldest does best with something similar to a longer military style cut, it gives him a guide on where his hearing aid headband is supposed to sit. My youngest gets it longer on top than his brother but neat and short on the sides. His will grow out to look like the picture next haircut.

We've always had good luck with our Wahl, the trick is to maintain it well, oil it and keep the blades clean.

i have a philips brand for my son, not sure exactly what kind but it was only $20 and came with all of the attachments. nothing fancy but easy to use and gets the job done. it’s also really quiet which is the only reason i can get my one year old to let me do it, so might help your sensory boy.

I worked at a Great Clips for many years doing probably around 15-20 clipper cuts a day and I got these. They lasted close to two years. Normally a clipper would only last maybe a year.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
