My daughter’s fever has spiked in the middle of the night for the second night in a row.. 103.4 and then 104.2 last night.. It goes away right after taking tylenol and drinking pedialyte, but I don’t know what to do. It’s back down to normal this morning.. Could it be the fact she’s teething? I’m so scared, and we are 6 hours from her pediatrician...

Anything above 102 she should be seen. But my son use to have high fevers like that randomly. No explanation he wasn’t sick or anything. Turned out to be an intolerance to the dairy in his formula. Have you started any new foods with her lately?

@ananix16, could definitely be teeth. But it’s better safe than sorry. Get her seen and get a processionals opinion. We just had to run to the urgent care today cuz I thought he had an ear infection but it’s just teeth.

Do you have a local urgent care? She needs seen.
