Update on my husbands car getting rear ended. Apparently it totaled out his car (it’s outdated his work car) so they are giving us $2,400. Took it to the shop all it needs to be safe is the tail light out back on. And it was $85

son getting out of car seat So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. What do you guys do when they start doing this? My Britax came with these long rubber strap covers but I took them off a while ago when he was to small for them. Are they to stop him from pushing the chest clip down? I just want to know if these will help before I take it apart to put them back on.

Fuck man, my boyfriend's car flipped over on the highway. He had me connected to his speaker in his car and I just heard him screaming and the car flipping over.. He blacked out.. I called him and he seems okay but fuck man. I heard everything. I thought he died.. He's almost gotten ran off the road in Abilene 3 times already and now this..

Usually if insurance totals out a car it's because it had frame damage..

Usually if the repairs are more than the car is worth the Insurance company will total it out.

Doesnt that also mean insurance is going to charge u big time each month now? Here if u total out a car and it's written in the insurance like that then insurance goes up big time

Not if you were the one who got rear ended. Same thing happened to me last year. Got almost $2000 for a $200 job.
