What’s everyone’s thoughts/opinions on drinking and breastfeeding? I don’t mean getting trashed every night.

I have mommy friends that drink and breastfeed. But they also pump and dump and make sure they have enough milk for their littles for the time in betweeen while the alcohol is still in their system.

I personally have not done it, nor would i do it. Just too much work for me to keep track of time, pump and dump, make sure i have enuff milk for my littles 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I had a glass of wine with dinner most nights while nursing.

I’m breastfeeding and I don’t drink regularly. I’ve had maybe 3 drinks since my son was born. It’s ok to have one and still feed but I wouldn’t have more than that. It’s not a big sacrifice to me. I nursed my daughter for 2.5 years and didn’t drink and it didn’t really bother me.

It’s okay. The rule is, if you’re okay to drive you’re okay to feed! ☺️
